9 Weeks to a Lean Mean Yogi Machine (Week 5-6)

So by now you all know my awesome friend Yvonne, the yoga instructor slimming up for a photo shoot.

Yvonne has completed her first 4 weeks of training and diet. She is down 8 inches already! Yeah! That is definitely something to be celebrated. She is feeling good and starting to feel the changes in the way her clothes are fitting and in the definition and shape in her body.

The calories and macro breakdown in Yvonne’s food plan changed in week 3-4 and she definitely felt the adjustment the first week on the new plan. Even though the calories were only 70 calories less than when we started, her carbs dropped a little bit too so she definitely felt the switch. After a couple days her body was adjusting well to the changes. I know I always feel a calorie change the most the first 7 days. That first week of any switch is really hard. It’s best just to keep the goal in mind and power through.

For week 5 and 6, she is going to stay on the same food plan, and her cardio is going to go up by five minutes each day. So nothing drastic, because her body is already responding so well.

Yvonne, is someone who is has been always quite active and up for a good challenge so she is naturally hanging in there really well.

Below is her week 5-6 plan. It has only changed minimally. Her diet plan is still the same from week 3-4. Yvonne’s weight and cardio plan are slightly different with an additional 5 mins of cardio each day, and a new weight routine. Her body is really adjusting well to the training and diet schedule, and most importantly she feels good!
